Terms of Commissioning
Dear valued customers,
I appreciate your interest in commissioning sculptures and would like to provide some information about the process and terms involved. As a single sculptor striving to protect my livelihood, I've established certain guidelines to ensure a smooth and fair collaboration.
Private Inquiry for Commissions:
Commissions are handled privately to respect the confidentiality and wishes of each customer. Your commissioned work won't be showcased or used for advertising without your explicit permission.
Discretion in Commission Acceptance:
I reserve the right to accept or decline commissions based on my current workload and creative discretion. This allows me to maintain the quality and commitment to each project.
Payment Methods:
Payments can be made conveniently through PayPal or a direct transfer to my bank account. This ensures a secure and straightforward transaction process.
Advance Payment for Projects:
To secure your commission and support my work, a minimum of half the agreed-upon price is required upfront. The remaining balance, along with packaging, shipping, and other fees, is due upon the completion of the project.
Cancellation and Refund Policy:
I understand that circumstances may change. If you choose to abandon a project, a refund of half the original price is possible with prior notice. However, once the sculpture is fully dry, fired, and/or painted, refunds are impossible. While I value each customer's right to change their mind, each project takes up my time and needs to be compensated for.
Breakage and Refund Policy:
In the unfortunate event of significant (irreparable) breakage during shipping, you have the right to a refund of the original price without the packaging and shipping costs. If the damage is partial and reparable, I can provide a free replacement of the damaged parts in question. You are asked to take photos of the damaged item and send them immediately after arrival for my assessment.
I kindly ask for your understanding regarding these terms, as they are essential to ensuring the sustainability of my craft as a solo sculptor. Your support and cooperation are greatly appreciated, and I look forward to creating unique and meaningful sculptures for you.
Your humble artisan,
Dominik
