Motif: The god Ptah
About: Ptah was primarily known as the god of craftsmen, architects, and artisans. He was revered as the patron deity of craftsmen due to his association with creation and craftsmanship. Because of the associacion of craftsmanship, Ptah was also seen as a creator god, particularly in his role as the divine craftsman who fashioned the universe and all living beings. He is depicted as a mummified man with a blue skullcap and a wide beard. He typically holds three symbols in his hands: Ankh, Djed, and Waas. He is also depicted standing on top of the Ma'at hieroglyph, which is a square base with a sloped front.
