Sekhmet is a fascinating deity from ancient Egyptian mythology. She's often depicted as a lioness-headed woman, representing both ferocious power and protective maternal instincts. Sekhmet was considered a warrior goddess, associated with war and destruction, but also with healing and medicine. As th Eye of Ra she symbolizes Ra's destructive aspect, interpreted as the merciless heat of the desert sun and for me, personally, wildfires in summer.
