Motif: Amun-Ra-Kamutef.

About: Amun-Ra was a major deity in the Egyptian pantheon, particularly prominent during the New Kingdom period, when the cult of Amun became the most important, making many other deities the aspects of Amun. He was often depicted as a man with a blue skin, wearing a double-plumed crown, and sometimes with ram horns. Amun was associated with air, creation, fertility, and kingship. Syncretisedwwith different gods, he expressed different aspects of life - most improtant of which was creation and fertility. As Amun-Ra-Kemutef, his attributes were merged with those of Ra and Min. Min was often depicted as a ithyphallic (with an erect phallus) deity, symbolizing male virility and fertility. He was typically shown standing with his left arm raised, holding a flail or a whip in his right hand, and his erect phallus in his left hand. His erect phallus was a symbol of his role in promoting fertility and procreation, both in humans and in the natural world.
