PaganArtistry: a Testament to Resilience and Growth

Reflecting on the past year, I find myself standing at an intersection of revelations and new beginnings in both my craft of statue making and my spiritual journey. As I traverse the highs and lows of artistic creation and personal growth, I am compelled to share my recent experiences here. The past year has been tough, but insightful, full of both expected and unforeseen challenges. From the demanding upkeep of my kiln to the complexities and dangers of the internet, I have been tested in ways I never imagined.

To start off with my beloved kiln. The high temperatures have taken their toll on it, demanding some maintenance and attention at the moment. Luckily, I have been able to purchase enough material for the necessary repairs. My business has brought in enough funds to be self-sustainable, although not yet enough to constitute a full-time job. Everything in due time, I suppose. However, the technical aspect of my little statuary, turns out not to be the biggest concern at the moment.

While trying to grow further and maybe beyond this well-trodden path, I encountered a setback that tested my resolve and forced me to reevaluate my approach to selling my works. Falling victim to a scam on a popular trading site was a major blow to my craft, since I am still a burgeoning artist trying to pursue the dream of turning a hobby into a job. It also served as a harsh reminder of the risks inherent in relying on external platforms and trusting in the general safety of well-known websites. Having lost a considerable amount of money due to my own naivety and the apparent unreliability the Wild Wild West now called the Internet, I made the decision to focus primarily on my own website, trusting in the strength of my craftsmanship and the loyalty of my customers.

Regardless of this setback, there have been moments of joy and excitement as well. In the spirit of trust and reliability in the relationship between my customers and me, I am thrilled to announce that I have received new commissions for my work, offering me the opportunity to stretch my creative boundaries and make my customers happy. Additionally, I am proud to unveil the launch of my web shop—a platform where people can discover and acquire traditionally crafted god statues, each one infused with the essence of divine inspiration and artistic passion. Those with a keen eye among you will notice that I have decided to sell all of the sacred images from my shrine. Having served their purpose in my personal temple, they are ready to embark on a journey into the world, spreading their magic and inspiration to other faithful pagans. Let's make this coming Kemetic year a good and fruitful one. Thank you for reading!
